Help Us Prepare Our Rosh Hashanah Celebration Meal
Dear Assembly Family,
On Saturday, September 12, following our morning service, we will gather around the table for our Rosh Hashanah Celebration Meal as we welcome the Hebrew New Year together.
We have planned a full meal for the Assembly, but I need your help to make it happen.
Our menu will include honey pomegranate chicken, roasted garlic herb baby potatoes, glazed carrots, green beans with almonds, fresh garden salad, round challah with honey butter, homemade apple pie, sparkling grape juice and water.
Rather than placing the responsibility for the entire meal on one or two people, I would like us to prepare this table together. If you are able to cook, bake, help purchase ingredients, assist with setup, serve, or help with cleanup afterward, please let me know where you would like to help.
Some of you may not be comfortable preparing a dish, and that is perfectly fine. There will be plenty of other ways to participate.
This is more than putting food on a table. It is an opportunity for us to serve one another and share the responsibility of making this gathering special for our Assembly family.
Please reply to this email and let me know if you can help. Once I know who is available, we can divide up the menu and responsibilities.
Thank you for helping us prepare the table.
In Strength and Honor,
Pastor Chris
The Sovereign’s Assembly
